How it will work

1. Sign up and invite the storyteller. They get a friendly welcome and say yes themselves. Nothing starts without their OK.
2. One question a week. By email or text link. They tap a big Record button and talk, or type, or reply to the email. Skip any question.
3. We write it down in their words. The recording is turned into text, then tidied into a chapter that keeps their phrases and stories. Nothing is added. Anything unclear is marked for the family to check.
4. Add photos. Family members can upload old photos and add captions.
5. Review the proof. You see the whole book as a PDF, fix anything, and approve it. Only then is the book printed.
6. The book arrives. Printed and mailed to you, with extra copies for the family if you want them.

What we promise

• Their words, not ours. The AI tidies; it doesn't invent. Every name, date and place must come from what they said.
• No pressure. One-time price, no subscription, no auto-renew, no countdown timers, no pressure sales.
• Honest pricing. Our fee is shown separately from the printer's price. Your first book is billed at the printer's price; extra copies are the printer's price plus a flat $15, shown up front.
• Private. Only the people they invite can see it. We never sell stories or use them to train AI. Delete everything anytime.
• Scam-smart. We will never ask for a Social Security number, bank details, Medicare number or passwords. If anyone claiming to be us does, it's a scam.

Is this available now?

Not yet. We're building it carefully and testing it with real families first. Join the waitlist and we'll email you once when it opens, with the final price, before you pay anything.

Do they have to write?

No. Most people talk. They answer one question a week by tapping a big Record button on a phone, tablet or computer, or by typing or replying to an email. A family member can sit with them and help.

Will AI make up parts of their story?

It must not, and we build it so it can't slip through. The AI only tidies what they actually said: removes the ums, puts sentences in order, and adds paragraph breaks. Every name, date and place in a chapter has to appear in their own recording or typed answer, or it gets flagged for the family to check. The storyteller or family approves every chapter before it goes in the book.

Is it a subscription?

No. It's a one-time price. Nothing renews and there's nothing to cancel.

What does the book cost?

The hardcover plan is a $60 service fee plus the printer's price for your first book, including tracked U.S. shipping. Today the printer's price is about $30.22 to $35.27 for a 100 to 200 page full-color hardcover, so a 150-page book comes to about $60.00 + $32.74 = $92.74 delivered, plus any sales tax. You see the exact amount, and approve it, after you've seen the finished proof.

How much are extra copies?

Each extra copy is the printer's price plus $15, plus shipping at the printer's rate. For a 150-page book that's $18.25 + $15 = $33.25, plus shipping (about $1.25 more when it ships in the same box as your first book).

Who sees the stories?

Only the storyteller and the family members they invite. We never sell or share the stories, never use them to train AI, and never ask for Social Security numbers, bank details or passwords. You can delete everything at any time.

What if we change our minds?

Before the book is approved for printing, you can get a full refund of the service fee within 30 days. Once a book is printed, we'll replace any copy with a printing or shipping problem.
